Are you entering into the experiment of life?
by Holly LanesmithYou’ve probably heard me talk about the idea of entering into the experiment of life...
It’s summed up pretty well in this quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson:
“All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make, the better.”
So, what exactly does it mean to enter into the experiment of life, and why should we?
Keep reading if you’re interested in finding out the answer to both questions above...
The idea that life is an experiment is one that I learned not too far along my journey of personal development, and it’s a powerful concept that has stayed with me since.
Let’s start off by breaking down what an experiment truly is. If we think about experiments, we know that essentially they’re tests. They’re tests to discover an outcome. There’s a test, and then there’s a result.
And while a person conducting an experiment usually has a hypothesis and may have hope for the desired outcome, they are open to failing and then testing a new experiment to reach that desired outcome.
How should this affect how we view life? If life is an experiment, we should be willing and open to testing ideas that are brought into our awareness and to press on, even when an experiment doesn’t result in our desired outcome.
The truth is, if we keep trying, we will succeed. We just need to keep taking action. We can’t give up.
The law of perpetual transmutation of energy tells us that we have the ability to take an idea and transmute the energy around us to match that idea and to attain a result that we desire, even if it takes a few tries along the way.
Think about it...
Realizing that life is an experiment takes the pressure off of you needing to be perfect.
It helps you go out there with faith that you can and will achieve what you set out to achieve.
...It just may take a few different trials along the way. And that’s ok. That’s part of the process.
Last Saturday, Holly touched on this concept during her Fully Resourced teaching on the law of perpetual transmutation of energy.
And she challenged us to enter into the experiment of life. Holly’s (and my tried-and-true) formula is this: dream big, get an idea, and act on that idea.
Dream - Idea - Act
It’s a simple process really, but one that most people aren’t willing to put to the test. So let me ask you, are you willing to put it to the test? Are you willing to enter into the experiment of life?
If you tuned into Holly’s teaching on Saturday, you know she challenged us with an exercise to implement this formula, to apply the law of perpetual transmutation of energy to our lives.
If you didn’t watch the teaching, click here to watch the replay. You’ll be glad you did.
And if you did watch it, have you begun the exercise yet? If not, why didn’t you? What’s stopping you from taking a step forward in the direction of your dreams?
If you haven’t yet begun the exercise, you still can! It’s a 7-day challenge that you can start today! Click here to access the worksheet.
I encourage you to take part in this! Holly and I (and many others) have used this law and method to transmute energy into a frequency that’s in alignment with our dreams, desires, and goals.
I also encourage you to tune in this Saturday at 9:30am (ET) as Holly and I introduce another universal law of creation: the law of vibration. We'll be sharing how it works and what you can do to apply it to your life.
Hope to see you then!
