What does it mean to be creative?
by Holly LanesmithSome people consider themselves naturally creative beings, while others cringe at the thought of doing something "creative."
So, what exactly does it mean to be creative?
You might conjure an image of a person painting a picture or crafting together a table. Whether you consider yourself capable of doing either of these things, the truth is… you have been gifted with creativity.
In fact, we’ve all been gifted with creativity, and we’ve been purposed to use our creativity in a way that most people don’t talk about…
We’ve been purposed to use our creativity– combined with an understanding of the universal laws– to design the life we desire.
You may have never thought about creativity in this way… and chances are, your conscious mind is already questioning it. It’s already coming up with reasons why you can’t create the life you desire.
If you’re a person of faith, you might think that it is solely God who determines your circumstances, and you have no say in what happens… (But the truth is, God has designed you to co-create with him, and he’s given you a blueprint to do that!)
If you’re not a person of faith, you might believe that things happen by luck or by chance, and that you have no control over the unpredictable circumstances around you.
And while that may seem true to you, can I challenge you with this thought?
The truth is, the universe operates by laws that we can measure and predict. And you have been given dominion over all things to operate within these laws and to live in harmony with them to help you create a life you love.
So, how do we get there?
How do we design the life we desire?
We can start by studying the 7 universal laws of creation and navigating our life around them.
Once you learn how to live in harmony with the laws, you’ll be able to make use of your creative potential to design the life you desire.
This Saturday, I’m going to break it down further in my Fully Resourced teaching at 9:30am (ET) on Facebook LIVE.
