While many people know Paul as the Founding President of The John Maxwell Team, Co-Founder of the Dr. Amen Brain Health Certification and The Cialdini Institute, and Founder and President of Empowered Living, what they may not know is that he is a high school dropout who overcame a stuttering disability to build 5 multimillion-dollar companies, generating over a billion dollars in revenue.
His business success has stemmed from his innate sales and business expertise, from which he has formulated the proprietary Martinelli Sales Method that has led thousands of other businesses to double and even triple revenue and explode business growth.
A Less than
Ideal Beginning
Paul was raised along with three siblings by a single mother in a Pittsburgh lower class family.
Life wasn’t easy. He grew up in an abusive home and a high-school dropout at the age of 16, the odds were stacked against Paul from the very beginning.
From Adversity To Accomplished Entrepreneur
In the late 1980’s, with just $200, a used vacuum, and a dream, he founded a small commercial cleaning company in South Florida.
He combined smart sales tactics with personal development teachings and propelled his business to unbelievable heights.
Just 15 years later, he had built it into a multimillion-dollar business which he sold to pursue his passion and purpose of teaching people how to achieve success in their own lives.
His awareness and ability to apply the success strategies and principles that he has learned and taught to others has enabled him to create and build multiple multimillion-dollar businesses with sales exceeding 1 billion dollars, and clients in more than 162 countries, including as co-founder of Maxwell Leadership, a globally recognized public speaking and training organization with over 40,000 members.
Mentor And Leader
Now, Paul spends most of his time studying, teaching and applying the principles of human potential, especially in the areas of business and sales.
He founded and leads the Empowered Living community, a social media following of more than 2.3 million people, providing personal and professional development training and education to help individuals and businesses build and grow beyond their current results.
He has shared the stage with many personal development masters – names such as John C. Maxwell, Seth Godin, Dr. Robert Cialdini, Jack Canfield, Wayne Dyer, Brian Tracy, Denis Waitley, Zig Ziglar, Les Brown, Nick Vujicic, Dr. Daniel Amen, Dr. Bruce Lipton, Joseph McClendon III, and Mark Victor Hansen.
Alongside of this, his central focus and passion is on equipping sales professionals with the training and tools to achieve and surpass their goals in a sustainable manner – based on his real world experience for more than three decades as a successful entrepreneur and business leader.
